Today, the ceremonial week of diploma awarding for the 2026 graduates has begun at Abai University. Among the first to receive their diplomas were graduates of the Faculty of History and Law. This year, 227 students graduated from the faculty, including 157 bachelor’s degree holders and 70 master’s graduates who successfully completed their academic programs. A total of 69 bachelor’s graduates received diplomas with honors.

The ceremony began with a video congratulatory message from the Chairman of the Board–Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Bolat Tilep. In his address, the rector noted:

– Student years are a special period when, along with gaining knowledge, lifelong friendships are formed, great dreams take shape, and confidence in the future is strengthened. Abai University has not only provided you with quality education but has also instilled life values and spiritual principles. May Abai’s words, “Move slowly but surely – your efforts will not be in vain,” always guide your path. The diploma you receive today is the first step toward new heights in your life journey. I wish you great success and a bright future. Congratulations on your graduation!

During the ceremony, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Banu Mukataikyzy presented diplomas to the graduates and expressed her best wishes. In addition, graduates who completed the military department were awarded military ranks.

Among this year’s graduates are many young people distinguished by their academic excellence, research achievements, and social activity. One of them is Adilet Aidosuly, a graduate of the “Fundamentals of History and Law” program. He is a recipient of the Abai scholarship and the Presidential scholarship of the Republic of Kazakhstan and graduated with outstanding results.

– Abai University became a place for me where I gained not only knowledge but also great opportunities for personal development. My professors guided me in every project and constantly supported my research work. In this environment, I had the opportunity to develop comprehensively. The university shaped my confidence and responsibility as a future specialist, – said the young graduate.

At the end of the ceremony, all graduates were presented with the book “The Book of Words” by the great Kazakh thinker Abai Kunanbayev. This remarkable day, marking the first step into adult life, will undoubtedly remain an unforgettable memory for the graduates.
