MECHANISMS FOR INCREASING GLOBAL SCIENTIFIC VISIBILITY DISCUSSED
Today, Abai University hosted a meeting with representatives from the international companies "IES Research" and "Mikro Information". The event was attended by the heads and staff of the university's scientific structures, as well as the series editors of the journal "Bulletin of Abai KazNPU", who gathered to discuss opportunities for promoting domestic scientific discoveries at the international level.
During the meeting, the foreign guests were briefed on the history of Abai University, its research activities, international cooperation potential, and key achievements. In turn, Wei Fu Wang, CEO of "IES Research", presented a strategic review designed to advance the university's scientific development. He placed special emphasis on gaining global recognition for the university's research findings and increasing its international scientific visibility.
The main objective of the meeting was to communicate the university's scientific achievements beyond the academic community to the general public. The discussion touched upon transforming complex academic research into accessible digital content, modern press releases, and video materials. Specifically, ways to disseminate cutting-edge research through various strategic channels to maximize its scientific impact were considered.
According to the foreign experts, adapting selected research findings for international media and conducting media campaigns on behalf of the university will significantly contribute to the popularization of science nationwide. In this regard, the need to effectively utilize current trends and modern media tools to ensure scientific news reaches the public in a timely and comprehensible manner was discussed.
With the aim of elevating the scientific potential of Abai University to a new global level and effectively promoting scientists' innovative projects on the international stage, the parties discussed cooperation issues. Within the framework of the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the development of international media communications and explored possibilities for establishing a partnership.
