In the era of globalization, the development of higher education and science is closely linked to international exchange of experience. In this regard, Abai University places special emphasis on enhancing the professional qualifications of its staff, strengthening intellectual capacity, and integrating into the global academic community. In June of this year, leading specialists of the university are undertaking internships at prestigious higher education institutions in the Republic of Turkey, where they are exploring advanced practices in research and education.

Gulzada Baymbetova, Director of the Department for Innovation Development and Scientific Personnel Training at Abai University, and Sanat Kumarbekuly, Head of the Center for Scientometrics and Scientific Publications, are undergoing advanced training at Istanbul University. The program is aimed at mastering effective models of organizing scientific activities. Participants became acquainted with the work of modern laboratories and practices of preparing scientific publications, and exchanged views on current issues. In particular, topics such as coordination of research projects, improvement of publication quality, development of publication activity, and expansion of international collaboration were discussed.

During the meeting, Professor Suat Ozkoruchuklu of Istanbul University highlighted the importance of the International Journal of Advanced Physics and Astronomy (IJAPA), published under Abai University. According to the scholar, this journal has the potential to become a globally recognized platform for publishing relevant research in physics and astronomy.

In addition, within the framework of the program, the activities of research centers and laboratories of the university were analyzed, and modern approaches to managing work processes were studied. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of research results into practice, commercialization of projects, and improvement of performance in international rankings.

Furthermore, Gulzada Aitzhankyzy participated in the international conference “World Educational Space: Innovative Experience and Pedagogical Leadership – 2” held at KTO Karatay University in Konya, where she delivered a presentation titled “Prospects for the Development of Higher Education and Science in the Era of Digitalization: A Modern Perspective of Scholars.” In her presentation, she comprehensively analyzed the new mission of universities and the processes of knowledge integration in the context of digital transformation.

International professional experience and academic partnerships contribute to improving the quality of scientific activity, enhancing the effectiveness of research outcomes, and introducing modern management approaches. Systematic work in this direction strengthens the university’s innovative potential and defines its position in the international arena.
