Among its graduates are prominent artists such as Erbolat Tolepbay, Nelly Bube, Vladimir Vlasyuk, Batima Zaurbekova, Berikzhan Almukhambetov, Tokkozha Kozhagulov, Zholaushy Turdygulov, Bolat Atamkulov, Nurlan Kilibayev, Zhenis Nurlybayev, Muratbek Nurlybayev, and Bolat Baizhigitov, all of whom have made significant contributions to the development of the arts. The university has also educated celebrated cultural figures and performers, including Ramazan Stamgaziyev, Zhanar Aizhanova, and Medeu Arynbayev. Their achievements clearly demonstrate the high quality of professional training provided by Abai University.


Today, the Faculty of Arts consists of three departments and offers seven educational programs. Prospective students can apply to the Departments of Design, Art Education, and Music Education and Choreography.


For the programs in Music Education, Art Education, and Labor Training and Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, the admission threshold is 20/75. Applicants must score at least 20 points on the Unified National Testing (UNT), while the combined score including the creative entrance examination must reach at least 75 points. Meeting these requirements allows applicants to compete for state-funded scholarships and apply for fee-paying study options.


For applicants to Choreography, Fine Arts, Design, and Printing Technologies programs, the minimum admission score is 65. Those who score at least 17 points in the two mandatory UNT subjects are eligible to take the creative entrance examinations. For the Cultural and Leisure Activities program, the admission threshold is set at 17/70.
