STARTUP PROJECTS DEVELOPED WITHIN THE “AI-SANA” PROGRAM
The
“AI-SANA” program aimed at helping students master the fundamentals of
artificial intelligence is being successfully implemented at Abai University.
Within the framework of the program, which is based on integrating artificial
intelligence capabilities into the educational process, students developed
startup projects and successfully used them in defending their graduation
theses.
A
total of 2,173 students of the university applied to participate in the
“AI-Sana” educational course. Among them, 979 students were selected to join
the project. This accounts for 45.1 percent of all applicants. Currently, the
number of students who have completed intensive training and fully finished the
preparation process has reached 240. This figure составляет 24.5 percent of the
course participants.
Students
who combined theoretical knowledge with practice successfully defended their
first digital products. One of them is Nurai Mailybai, a 4th-year student of
the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, who presented the “Zerde
AI” platform as an effective model for integrating artificial intelligence into
the learning process. Her methodology is based on identifying students’
mistakes within a short period of time and developing personalized assignments.
–
Through this program, we first of all learned how to save time. The
methodology I developed identifies each student’s mistakes within a few seconds
and creates individual assignments aimed at improving their knowledge. Such an
approach significantly facilitates teachers’ daily work, – says Nurai
Mailybai.
Another
proactive student is Zhaidary Nygmetkhanova, a 4th-year student. In her project
“SmartSana,” Zhaidary created interactive educational content that strengthens
interdisciplinary connections with the help of artificial intelligence. In
addition, in her work she demonstrated mechanisms for the rapid preparation of
visual materials, strengthening feedback between teacher and student, and
automatically assessing academic performance.
–
The “AI-SANA” course gave us great creative freedom. Using modern tools, I
developed an effective way to bring interactive communication between teacher
and child to a new level. In addition, this program makes it possible to
automatically assess students’ knowledge and continuously monitor their level
of development,
– shared Zhaidary Nygmetkhanova.
Abai
University pays special attention to ensuring that every future specialist
meets the demands of modern times. Today, a teacher must not only master their
professional field, but also be able to use artificial intelligence in teaching
methodology. The “AI-SANA” program increased young people’s interest in new
technologies and contributed to the development of their abilities.
