Erasmus+ KA171 – University of Chieti-Pescara AY 2026/27 – Winter Term (01 Oct 2026 – 28 Feb 2027)

AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS - REGION 6 – CENTRAL ASIA

A total of 5 scholarships are available for the first semester of the academic year 2026/2027 for students from the following countries: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan.

All mobilities are fixed at a duration of 5 months (one semester), from 01 October 2026 to 28 February 2027.

SCHOLARSHIP

·         € G00/month for the full duration of the mobility (total: € 4,500)

· + €250/month top-up for fewer opportunities (i.e. participants facing economic, social, health, geographical or other barriers, as defined in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide – Inclusion and Diversity), subject to the availability of funds.

· + travel support, calculated on the basis of the distance between the sending and host institutions, in accordance with the European Commission Erasmus+ Distance Calculator (https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/resources-and-tools/distance-calculator), and allocated in line with Erasmus+ Programme rules.

We can provide support in finding suitable accommodation at our Campuses in Chieti and Pescara. An Italian language course will also be offered before and during the mobility.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Only candidates meeting all the following criteria will be considered:

1.       Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree programme (final year only), or in a Master’s degree programme, or in a PhD programme at their home institution for the Academic Year 2026/2027 (University enrollment certificate required)

2.       Strong academic record, documented through GPA or equivalent grading system (Transcript of Records required)

3.       Language proficiency in Italian or English at a minimum B1 level (CEFR), evidenced by a recognised certificate or an official institutional attestation* (e.g. EU Academy language test). The relevant supporting document must be provided at the time of application; applications without such proof will not be considered.

4.       Priority will be given to applicants selecting courses taught in English at UdA (see the list of courses held in English: https://www.unich.it/international/international-students/courses-held-english
