SOLEMN MILITARY OATH CEREMONY HELD

Students of Abai University are set to contribute to strengthening the country’s military service. Today, cadets trained at the university’s military department solemnly took the military oath and pledged to serve the Motherland faithfully. A total of 271 young servicemen, committed to safeguarding national security and peace, joined the ranks of the Armed Forces and entered a new stage of responsibility.


Among the 271 graduates who completed specialized training, there are 161 reserve officers and 110 sergeants. Combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, the young generation is fully prepared to carry out specific tasks aimed at enhancing the nation’s defense capability.


The ceremony was attended by the university leadership, veterans of the military department, heroes of the Afghan war, and relatives of the young soldiers. Chairman of the Board-Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Bolat Tlep, congratulated the cadets standing in formation and emphasized the great historical responsibility entrusted to them. He noted that the strength of the army is measured not only by weapons, but also by the knowledge of officers and the strong spirit of soldiers.


– Today, you have not only taken an oath, but also embraced the legacy of your ancestors and become true defenders of an independent nation. This duty is the foundation of our state’s integrity. May your steps be firm and your oath unwavering, – said the rector.


During the ceremony, the servicemen demonstrated a marching drill, showcasing discipline and a high level of preparedness. The noble demeanor and elegance of the officers impressed the audience, proving that military service is not defined solely by strictness.


It is worth noting that the military department of Abai University was established in 1998 and has since trained nearly 8,000 graduates who have joined the officer corps. Graduates of the university stand out not only for their professionalism but also for their strong patriotism. Service to the Motherland will become an important stage that shapes their character and strengthens their sense of statehood. Today’s young officers are the backbone of the nation’s future. There is strong confidence that each of their steps will serve the security of the state and the well-being of the people.
