Training of scientific personnel

The goal is to implement a policy to improve the quality of scientific research and education in compliance with the mandatory requirements for the level of training of masters, doctors of philosophy (PhD) in the process of transformation into a pedagogical research university, as well as to ensure the training and certification of highly qualified scientific personnel for the effective reproduction, generation, development of intellectual potential and adequate staffing of scientific and the university's innovation activities.

Functions:

1. Coordination and control of research and development (NIRM, NIRD) of educational institutions;
2. Coordination and control of timely holding of international and national scientific conferences included in the annual Action Plan of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the University;
3. Coordination and control of the activities of Dissertation Councils at KazNPU named after Abaya;
4. Planning and organization of competitions for state nominal scholarships, nominal prizes in the field of science;
5. Organization and coordination of the 1st and 2nd stages of the republican contest of research papers of students and undergraduates;
6. Coordination and control over the documentation of the participants of the republican competition for the title of "Best University Teacher";
7. The annual Decade of Science;
8. Organization and control of the annual scientific student conference;
9. Coordination and control of the activities of the Council of Young Researchers;
10. Planning, organization and control of scientific work of undergraduates and PhD students, etc.
