Today, at Abai University, an extended meeting of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics was held, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the distinguished scholar, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Dosan Baimolda, who has made an immeasurable contribution to the country’s education system. As part of the ceremonial event, the memoir book “Research and Achievements on the Path of Education and Science” was presented, and his outstanding service to the university was honored.

The meeting was opened by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Ertay Sultan, who highlighted the юбиляр’s role in the university’s history and his personal qualities. He conveyed the warm wishes of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of Abai University, Bolat Tilep, and presented a congratulatory letter.

– Your conscious life is a vivid example of the harmonious combination of national science and patriotic education. As an academician of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of Kazakhstan, you have stood at the forefront of fundamental research and contributed significantly to strengthening the country’s intellectual potential. In your teaching career, you have worked tirelessly, educating a generation of highly qualified specialists now serving in strategic sectors of the state. We are confident that your rich experience and profound knowledge will continue to benefit the nation, – the rector’s letter states.

The university leadership highly appreciated the scientist’s many years of dedicated work and awarded him the badge “For Distinguished Service.”

Dosan Baimolda’s scientific research covers the fields of general and complex nuclear physics. The researcher not only studies the intricate laws of nuclear physics and produces fundamental works in this area but also contributes significantly to national history and journalism. His historical and publicistic writings reflect his deep commitment to national spiritual values.

During the event, the юбиляр’s colleague, Professor Marat Kulbekuly, spoke and emphasized his unique ability to connect complex physical theories with public consciousness.

The professor’s high international reputation is evident from the congratulatory messages received from abroad. In particular, Mongolian scientist, Doctor of Sciences Dangaagiin Selenge sent a special message, while warm wishes from scientific centers in Poland and the Czech Republic further highlighted his global connections.

Vice-President of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of Kazakhstan, Academician Erengayyp Omarov, noted his contribution to the academy, while Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology, Academician Ziyabek Kabuldinov, highly praised his dedication to historical scholarship and national values. Professor Baltabay Abdigaziuly of the Faculty of Philology and Professor-Researcher Bolat Zhumagulov of the Faculty of History and Law shared meaningful memories and extended heartfelt wishes. The staff of the Physics Department and the Faculty of History also expressed their warm regards.

The meeting also featured the presentation of the author’s memoir “Research and Achievements on the Path of Education and Science.” This work is not only a biography but also a valuable record of the development of national science over the past half-century. The professor donated a signed copy to the university library, guiding the younger generation.
