Today, a significant meeting was held at Абай атындағы Қазақ ұлттық педагогикалық университеті. The university leadership met with recipients of the scientific internship under the international “Bolashak” program. In the near future, they will travel to leading foreign universities to gain academic experience. The meeting focused on adapting international best practices to the national education system.

During the discussion, participants examined the key areas of the scientific internship, mechanisms for implementing foreign research experience, and ways to enhance the university’s research capacity. Pedagogical scholars who successfully passed a highly competitive selection process and received invitations from several prestigious universities in the United States shared their upcoming plans.

Taking into account the factors of international integration, adapting global experience to national interests remains a strategically important priority. According to Symbat Yesimkulova, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of World Languages, the development and application of innovative methodologies will create strong opportunities to elevate the education system to a new level.

–        Our main goal is to modernize the educational process in qualitative terms and to develop a new methodological model. Over the past 25 years, we have tested various pedagogical approaches. At this stage, we intend to integrate the accumulated experience with international research and make a tangible contribution to the development of education and science in our country. In addition, we plan to develop joint projects with foreign scholars, – said Symbat Yesimkulova.

At the meeting, the program recipients presented their projects in digitalization, artificial intelligence, and the technological advancement of the educational process. In particular, Karlygash Abiyr, a lecturer at the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methodology named after Academician S. Kirabayev, outlined a work plan aimed at developing national intellectual potential. She emphasized that such research makes it possible to present national content in new and more accessible formats.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Banu Narbekova offered recommendations regarding new projects and expressed her support for the internship recipients.

–        We consider your achievements to be the shared success of our university. This is a clear indicator of our institution’s research potential. We will maintain close cooperation with you in the future. Every achievement in science is important to us. We place great hopes on you and wish you success, – the Vice-Rector stated.

Today, Kazakhstani higher education institutions aim not only to provide quality education but also to become competitive research centers. The scientific internship under the “Bolashak” program offers broad opportunities to study advanced international practices and contribute to the development of the national higher education system. This is not only an individual scholar’s achievement but also a strategic asset of national science. The key task now is to align international experience with national interests and give new momentum to the development of the scientific landscape.
