On April 1-2, 2025, the Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University in Astana held the republican festival of student theaters "Babalar Zholy - Halkynyn Murasy, Urpaqqa Amanaty". The goal is spiritual, moral and aesthetic education of the younger generation, popularization of traditions and national values. The festival was also attended by student theaters "Urker" and "Shyn" of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, which took 1st and 2nd places.

In the festival, in which 8 student theaters from all over Kazakhstan participated, the theater "Urker" presented the play "Abai-Togzhan", and the theater "Shyn" - the play "Zhazygym ne menin, mama?".

The festival lasted 2 days. On April 1, the grand opening of the event took place, which ended with the performance of 4 student theaters. On the first day, the Shyn Theater staged its production, and the jury highly appreciated it in terms of direction. On the second day, the performance of the Urker Theater also received special recognition from the jury.

Thus, the Urker Theater took the first prize place out of 8 student theaters, and the Shyn Theater took the second place. In addition, the head of the Shyn Student Theater Zhomart Rakhimzhan received an award in the nomination "Uzdik er adam beynesi".
