The Department of Economic Investigations of the Almaty Region, together with the National Pedagogical University, successfully held an event within the framework of the National Olympiad on Financial Security, the purpose of which was to raise awareness of students and specialists in the field of protecting financial interests and combating financial crimes.

The event, which took place on April 9, 2025, was attended by more than 800 students, as well as experts in the field of financial security and law enforcement. The event consisted of several stages, such as a lecture, surveys, practical tasks and situational tasks, in which participants demonstrated knowledge of financial legislation, payment system security, as well as skills in identifying and preventing financial crimes.

The best teams and individual participants received valuable gifts, as well as an invitation to an internship at the Department of Economic Investigations.
