On April 7, 2025, at the Faculty of Philology of the Abai KazNPU, the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, with the support of the Uyghur Language and Culture Support Center and the I. Iskenderov Secondary School, organized an essay competition on the topic "Abai Murasy - Rukhaniyat Kazynasy". The event was dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Abai Kunanbayev.

The main goal of the competition is to create conditions for a more in-depth study of the work of the great poet Abai Kunanbayev by students, as well as for the free expression of their own thoughts in writing, identifying creative, creative and critically thinking youth.

The competition was attended by 11th-grade students of Uyghur-language schools in Almaty, as well as 1st-2nd-year students of the Uyghur Language and Literature, English Language specialty of the Philological Faculty of the Abai KazNPU.

Acting Head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation K. T. Dyusenova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor R. Arziev, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer H. V. Masimova, as well as teachers of Almaty schools - Candidates of Philological Sciences H. Khamraev, R. Ilieva, R. Mukhammetova addressed the participants with parting words and good wishes.

30 students took part in the competition, demonstrating their creative abilities.
