TRAINING SESSION ON EMOTIONAL STABILITY
Abai University hosted an interactive training session titled "Internal Resources of a Teacher's Personality: Emotional Stability, Professional Growth, and Prevention of Burnout." The practical session was conducted by Zhasulan Seitkaliyev, a young scholar and experienced practitioner-psychologist. Students and doctoral candidates majoring in Preschool Education attended the event to discuss strategies for overcoming challenges in their future careers.
During the lecture, the speaker presented Eric Berne’s renowned Theory of Transactional Analysis, focusing on the interplay between the "Parent, Adult, and Child" ego states. The psychologist emphasized that maintaining a balance between these three positions is crucial for any educator in managing their internal resources. Moving beyond theory, the lecturer engaged participants in specialized practical exercises designed as effective tools for monitoring emotional states and navigating stressful professional situations.
Trainer Zhasulan Seitkaliyev and the students conducted a comprehensive analysis of the efficient use of internal resources and preventive measures against professional stagnation. They explored the psychological roots of common issues such as internal discomfort, lack of focus, self-doubt, and procrastination.
Such events facilitate the rapid adaptation of young specialists to the professional environment and enhance their emotional resilience. The interactive training format boosted student interest in the profession and provided them with essential practical skills.
