The winners of the "Best Student Scientific Organization" competition have been determined

On April 8, 2025, as part of the Science Week, the "Best Student Scientific Organization" competition was held among students at the initiative of the Council of Young Researchers.


The event was dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abay and was aimed at stimulating students engaged in scientific research activities by identifying the best student scientific organization of the university.


The competition consisted of three stages:

Stage I - a creative presentation "My Close-knit Organization";

Stage II - "Quick Answers" aimed at testing knowledge in the field of academic writing;

Stage III - "The Problem We Are Researching", where the scientific activity of the participants was assessed based on their publications.


Students competed in various formats: presentations, videos and mixed forms of presentation, and also demonstrated their research activity through scientific publications.


The following organizations took part in the competition:

Scientific organization "Sparkle Science of Chemistry" of the Faculty of Natural Science and Geography, which included Zarina Ersayn, Arailym Elshibek, Zhanerke Erlankyzy, Madina Bakatay, Sanjar Rinatov, Suleimen Amirbek. Scientific supervisor - PhD, senior lecturer Asem Uzakova.


Eco-club "Ayala" of the Faculty of Natural Science and Geography, represented by students Asylbek Myrzakul, Laila Sekerbekova and Sabina Akkair. Scientific supervisor - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kulzhakhan Bakirova.


Organization "AlphaSUD" of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, consisting of Dilnaz Kenjebaeva, Ademi Zhumabekova, Gulnaz Berikkyzy and Kamilyam Sultanova. Scientific supervisor - PhD, senior lecturer Almash Turalbaeva.


The scientific competition took place in an exciting and tense atmosphere: the jury members asked questions, and the participants gave detailed and reasoned answers.


Based on the results of the competition:

1st place was taken by the organization "AlphaSUD" of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology;

2nd place - the organization "Sparkle Science of Chemistry" of the Faculty of Natural Science and Geography;

3rd place - the eco-club "Ayala" of the same faculty.


The participants of the competition and the winners were awarded letters of gratitude from the Chairman of the Board - Rector, diplomas and cash prizes.
