Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University announces a competition for a full-time position of Research Professor engaged in both teaching and research activities.

Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Regulation on the Position of Research Professor at Abai KazNPU.

Application Package

• Application for participation in the competition;
• Copy of identity card;
• Resume / CV;
• Documents confirming academic degree and title;
• Research Proposal (priority is given to pedagogical and interdisciplinary research);
• List of scientific publications over the past five years;
• Documents confirming leadership or participation in research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as international research projects (screenshot from NCSTE system, copy of agreement with international organization);
• Portfolio with supporting materials (publication reprints, monograph chapters, citation indicators in Scopus and Web of Science, copy of employment record book);
• Recommendation or reference letter from previous place of employment;
• Evidence of academic achievements over the past five years (recipient of the "Bolashak" scholarship, "Best Researcher" or "Best University Teacher" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, patents, certificates, experience in research supervision, and other documented accomplishments).

Applications must be submitted by December 5, 2025 (inclusive) to the Department of Science of Abai KazNPU, located at 30 Kazybek bi Street, Office 209a, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
