A republican competition was held in the city of Semey, the administrative center of the Abai region. Students of Abai University returned with prizes from the «Сөз ғұмыр» competition dedicated to the work of the prominent writer, historian, ethnographer, and folklorist Zeynolla Sänik. Winners of the creative contest among talented youth were awarded special diplomas and cash prizes.

The competition brought together around 40 talented students from various regions of the country, demonstrating a strong interest in national literature and spirituality. Participants made efforts to comprehensively promote Zeynolla Sänik’s legacy, deeply exploring the historical knowledge, ethnographic features, and artistic value of his works.

In this intense contest, students of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai also showed great activity and demonstrated a high level of creative ability. As a result, students of the Center for Young Poets named after Orazaly Dosbosynov achieved notable success and became part of the winners’ group.

In particular, second-year student Nespibay Shamil won the Grand Prize and received a cash award of 450,000 tenge. First-year student Balkybek Abzal took second place and was awarded 150,000 tenge. In addition, first-year student Zhumadil Sabina received a special prize and a cash reward of 20,000 tenge, while first-year student Orazakhyn Enlik was awarded a letter of appreciation for her outstanding performance. The head of the O. Dosbosynov Center for Young Poets, Aitugan Jetebaev, trained and prepared the winners for this creative competition.

Such meaningful and educational events provide an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Kazakh literature and contribute to the spiritual and cultural development of the younger generation. The legacy of Zeynolla Sänik continues to be revived as a spiritual guide and an important cultural value for future generations.
