The Non-profit Joint-Stock Company "Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University" announces a competition for vacant postdoctoral positions for the year 2025.

The competition is open to young researchers who are residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the age of 40 (inclusive), actively engaged in scientific research and contributing to the development of priority and emerging scientific fields.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants for the postdoctoral program must meet the criteria established in the Regulation on Postdoctoral Studies of Abai KazNPU.

Required Application Documents:

- Application for participation in the competition (Appendix 1);

- Copy of identity card;

- Resume / CV;

- Copy of PhD diploma;

- Research proposal for the postdoctoral period
(priority is given to pedagogical and interdisciplinary research fields);

      - List of scientific publications and patents;

      - Portfolio with supporting documents (publication prints, citation index in Scopus and Web of

      - Science databases, certificates, patents, copy of employment record book);

      - Two (2) letters of recommendation and/or two (2) reference letters from previous places of employment;

      - Supporting documents confirming achievements in science and education over the past five (5) years, such as:

-          Recipient of the "Bolashak" scholarship;

-          Recipient of a state or scientific scholarship for talented young scientists;

-          Holder of the title "Best Researcher" or "Best University Teacher" of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

-          Experience in managing or participating in research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan or international research projects;

-          Experience in academic supervision and other achievements.
