On April 7, 2025, as part of the Decade of Science 2025, second-year doctoral student of the educational program "8D01201 - Preschool Education and Upbringing" Zhanna Asankhanova, together with scientific supervisors Ulbosyn Kiyakbayeva and Asem Bulshekbayeva, conducted a training seminar on "Formation of cybersecurity skills among older preschoolers in a digital environment" in kindergarten No. 107 of the Medeu district.

The purpose of the training seminar is to introduce effective methods of forming a cybersecurity culture among older preschoolers in the context of the active use of digital technologies and the exchange of experience between teachers.

During the event, the following events were held: a survey of teachers, a discussion of ways to develop children's safe online behavior skills, consideration of the role of gaming technologies in preventing cyber threats, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between educators and parents, familiarization with the methods of digital literacy formation in children.

At the end of the event, educators were given memos on the basics of cybersecurity and feedback was provided. Maya Nusipalieva, head of the kindergarten, expressed gratitude to the organizers and her desire to continue similar initiatives in the future.

This training seminar has become an important step in addressing current issues of digital security in the preschool education system.
