To all Deans, Vice Deans, Directors and staff of departments, Heads of Chairs, Mentor-Researchers, academic staff, doctoral candidates and master`s students of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University:

On 25 September 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the conference hall (Room 202), a university-wide methodological seminar will take place on the topic: `Enhancing the Quality of Education through Practice-Oriented Research: Practice and Prospects of Lesson Study and Action Research`, organized by the Center for Pedagogical Innovations and Action Research of the UNESCO Chair.

The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Clea Fernandez, an expert in educational psychology, developer of programs aimed at improving teaching quality through continuous and systematic staff development, professional development for teachers and administrators, and author of the book Lesson Study: A Japanese Approach to Improving Teaching and Learning in Mathematics. Dr. Fernandez has also participated in numerous international programs on teacher professional development.

The university community is cordially invited to engage in a constructive professional dialogue to address current challenges and to explore the integration of innovations aimed at enhancing the quality of education.
